Will Hardiman Sr.

Will L. Hardiman Sr., resident of Ponca City, went home to Glory on Sunday, March 1, 2009. He was 46. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at the Power House of Faith Church, 114 North Oak. Pastor J.R. Thompson will preside over the service with a dinner to be served at the J.R. Thompson Fellowship Hall. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Will was born March 5, 1962 at Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of Robert Boyd Hardiman and Baby D. LeFear Hardiman. He lived in Benton, Louisiana until the age of 8 at which time the family moved to Oklahoma. He attended Garfield Elementary, East Jr. High and Ponca City High School. Will had been employed with Pepsi Cola and Bert and Ben, and the past 13 years was employed with Take Ten. Will was a member of the Broken Heart Ministries of Ponca City. His enjoyments were fishing, golf, all other sports, especially basketball, and listening to music. He leaves behind his wife, Celestine Hardiman; one son, Will L. Hardiman Jr. and wife, Jennie, of Guthrie, Oklahoma; one daughter, Courtney E. Hardiman of Moore, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Nashiyah Nicole Harlow and Aiden Ray Hardiman; three brothers, Robert Junior Hardiman and wife, Kathlene, Lorenzo Hardiman and wife, Gayla, and Gene A. Hardiman and wife, Lesa, all of Ponca City; three sisters, Elvira Blackmon and husband, Roger, Benton, Louisiana, Ann D. Morris and husband, Earl, and May P. Hardiman, all of Ponca City; a host of nieces, nephews, aunties, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Casket bearers will be his nephews.
