Warren Neuerburg

Warren Neuerburg, 84, beloved Father, was called to his eternal resting place on August 3, 2022. He entered this world on February 20, 1938 in Terre Haute, Indiana, born to John Matthew and Bertha Lenora (Kent) Neuerburg.

Warren was a Navy veteran and served for 22 years. He helped recover the Apollo 13 ship after it landed in the South Pacific Ocean. He met Marilyn Jean Bruce and the two were wed on December 19, 1957 in Long Beach, California. The two enjoyed many years being married until her passing in 2002.

In his later years, Warren enjoyed fishing, woodworking, puzzle books, hunting, and western movies as well as western books. A favorite author of his being Louis L'Amour. He would often be seen with his inseparable companion, his dog Bella, who he referred to as "miracle".

Those left behind to cherish Warren's memory are his three daughters, Anna Neuerburg-Hilbert of Enid, OK, Rebecca (Gene) Roberts of Fairfax, OK, and LaDina Proctor of Mulvane, KS; grandchildren, Stephanie Cervantes of Enid, OK, Gabe (Tasha) Smith of Ponca City, OK, Taylor (Rafael) Mendez of Fort Worth, TX, Justin (Marianna) Stone, Cody (Stephanie) Stone, Misty (Jason) Bliss, Geminie (Tanner) Edwards, Hunter Proctor, and Lindsey Lampe; as well as 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn, four brothers, and one sister.
