Walter Orona

Walter Orona, Ponca City resident, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Ponca City Medical Center. He was 36.

Walter was born on May 26, 1974 in Seminole, Texas the son of Luis Orona and Romelia Castillo. He was employed at T. Rowe Pipe LLC as welder and insulator. Walter met Maria Consuelo Galindo in Mexico on December 25, 1996 and it was love at first sight. The couple later married on May 8, 1997 in Emporia, Kansas.

Walter enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family, but his main love in life was being with his wife and children. Walter touched many lives with his gentle and kind spirit and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by parents his loving wife, Maria of Ponca City, Oklahoma children, Walter Orona Jr., 12, Chaitely Marie Orona 10 and Chanell Alexia Orona, 8 brother, Jese Luis Orona and sisters, Nora Elia Orona and Nelda Orona and numerous friends.

The funeral service is planned for a later daye in Ojinaga Chiuahuah Mexico.
