Venetia Hess

Venetia Lila Hess, 48, of Ponca City, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her home.
Venetia was born on January 14, 1964 in Denver, CO to Anthony and Katherine Primeaux Warrior, Sr. Venetia had been living in the Ponca City area since 1969 moving from Denver. Venetia married Richard Hess in April of 1983, he passed away in 1984. Also preceded in death by her parents, BrotherDominick Warrior and 1 grandchildDiamond Lamont Warrior.
Venetia is survived by 3 children Roxann Hess, Christopher Warrior and Donald Sawyer all of Ponca City. 1 BrotherAnthony Warrior, Jr. of Ponca City and 1 sisterValerie Red Owl of Shakopee, MN. 5 grandchildren Iziah Alvarez, Iliah Alvarez, Monica Alvarez, Lila Sawyer and Jayden Warrior and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery with Pastor Louis Headman officiating.
