Todd Hammans

Todd Alan Hammans, 50, of Ponca City, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011 in the Ponca City Medical Center.

Todd was born on May 8, 1961 in Ponca City to Robert Lee and Mary Lou Rhodes Hammans. Todd was a lifelong area resident, a carpenter by trade, he was of the Protestant Faith, belonged to Narcotics Anonymous.

Todd was married to JoAnn Renee Caldwell on Sept. 21, 1979 in Newkirk, Ok. They spent many happy moments together. Todd loved life, he enjoyed building things and he liked helping people. Todd enjoyed reading, especially history. His dream was to take a trip with his wife to Washington, D.C. and drive up the East Coast. Todd loved camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Todd and JoAnn enjoyed watching old movies. Todd loved to hang out with his beloved pets. Todd had a heart bigger than the outdoors and loved God. We will miss him greatly. Todd was preceded in death by his Father and grandparents.

Todd is survived by his wife JoAnn, his mother Mary Lou Hammans of Ponca City, 1 sister Kim and husband Clyde Seal of Ponca City. 1 Brother Tyler and wife Renee Hammans of Tulsa.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at the Longwood Cemetery of Ponca City, OK.

Services are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City.
