Timothy Timmy Joe Robbins, resident of Rural Ponca City, died on Thursday, October 1, 2009 in Ponca City. He was 23 years old. Timmy was born to Billy Joe Robbins and Debra Ruth Edmonds Robbins on September 25, 1986 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He grew up in the rural Ponca City and Marland area and attended McCord Elementary School. In the 9th grade he transferred to Frontier High School where he graduated in 2005. He was active in the McCord 4-H and enjoyed showing pigs. He played soccer all through elementary school. Timmy was an awesome mechanic and he earned many certificates in auto mechanics while in high school and while attending Meridian Vo-Tech in Stillwater. He loved mud running, working on trucks, tearing them apart and putting them back together. His talent won him fourth place in the nationals at the Ford Mechanic Competition. At the time of his death he was employed at Veolia in Ponca City. Timmy was a good kid who worked hard and played hard. He was very personable and had a beautiful smile and laugh. Everyone loved Timmy and his presence is going to be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Billy Joe Robbins and Debbie Vaughn and husband, Jay; sisters, Nikki Robbins and Amy Robbins; step brothers, Chad Vaughn and Austin Vaughn; step sister, Lauren Vaughn; grandparents, Charles and Karen Edmonds and Bill Robbins; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend, Tara Bentley as well as many other friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Jane Jeannie Robbins; and aunt, Roxanne Matthews. Casket bearers will be Chad Vaughn, Austin Vaughn, Chuck Robbins Jr., Jason Senseman, Justin Senseman and Parker Beard. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2009 at Woodlands Christian Church with Pastor Chris Short officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
