Thomas Daniel Terry III, resident of Ponca City passed away on Friday, March 20, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was 28. Thomas was born the son of Thomas Daniel Terry, Jr. and Delores DeLodge Terry in Claremore, Oklahoma on May 12, 1980. He attended Ponca City High School and graduated in 2000. While in high school, he played football, a sport he enjoyed since the age of 5. Thomas liked watching Ultimate Fighting Championship UFC. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his mother, Delores; son, Kaden Morrison; sisters, Terri Terry and Tammy Terry-Snethen; brother, Franklin James Terry; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Daniel Terry, Jr.; grandmother, Irene Waters and numerous other relatives. Casket bearers for the service will be Arthur Urioste, Patrick Costello, Sergio Villarrvel, Albert B.J Miner, Jeff Bubba Lieb, Jr., and Jesse Skipper Goldman. Honorary bearers will be Robert Junior Murray, Alan Murray, Franklin Terry, Myron Hinman, Conner Rhodd, A.J. Carney, J.R. Kent and Joe Don Waters. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center. Reverend Louis Headman will officiate. A traditional noon meal and feast will be held before the service. Burial will follow at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
