Teddy Joe Parker, Newkirk resident, passed away on March 15, 2010 at Blackwell Regional Hospital. He was 71.
Teddy Joe was born to Floyd T. and Babe Buff Luper on September 4, 1938 in Beggs, Oklahoma. Teddy Joe grew up in the Arkansas City, Kansas area.
Teddy Joe was a welder employed with Ponca Tool and retired at the age of 62 from Ponca Machine. Teddy Joe was a joker who loved playing practical jokes on family and friends.
He is survived by one son, Tracy Parker and his wife Anita of Kildare, daughter Heleina Parker of Ponca City, brother, Don Parker and wife Virginia of Arkansas City, KS and sister Barbara Condent of Wellington, KS and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of Teddy Joes life will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2 pm at Tracy Parkers residence, 1165 Elm Avenue, Kildare, OK. The online guestbook can be signed at www.gracememorialchapel.net.
