Susie Epperly

Susie M. Epperly, resident of Fairfax, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Fairfax Manor Nursing Home. She was 73 years of age.

Susie was born May 10, 1938 at Sapulpa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas Edwards and Cleda Pickett Edwards. She received her education in the Blackwell, Oklahoma Schools. She was of the Baptist faith and her enjoyments included picking up cans for resale.

She is survived by her six children, Steve Epperly and wife, Jennifer, of Fairfax, Charles Epperly and wife, Shannon, of Wichita, Kansas, Helena Hare and husband, Randy, Wichita, Kansas, James Epperly and wife, Annie, of Texas, Bill Epperly and wife, Kim, of Texas, and Evelyn Hare, of Park City, Kansas numerous grandchildren and other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents one daughter, Sharon Smith three brothers, Everett Leon Davis, Lawrence Ray Edwards and Thomas James Edwards.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Longwood Cemetery, Ponca City with Brother Lewis Bernard presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Casket bearers will be Merl Rose, Cleatis Rose, Neil Conrad, Jim Davis, Monty Joe Davis and Mitchell Davis.
