Scott E. Seymour, resident of Bethany, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was 35. Scott was born the son of Donald Ray Seymour and Ramona Louise Hutson on August 21, 1973 in Panama City, Florida. He attended schools in Germany, Illinois, Florida and later attended the Opportunity Center in Ponca City and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He also attended and worked at the Dale Rogers Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Scott loved playing board games and Monopoly, Yahtzee and Sorry were games he always enjoyed. He liked to swim and ride the camels at the Arbuckle Mountains and he was a Dale Earnhart Jr. fan, but more than anything, he loved to watch movies. He had a quirky sense of humor, and was very persistant to talk even if you didnt want to. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by those who know him. He is survived by his parents, Donald R. Seymour of Bethany, Oklahoma and Ramona Horton and husband, Rich of Ponca City, Oklahoma; step-mother, Wanda Seymour of Yukon, Oklahoma; brothers, Jonathan Bettis of Yukon, Oklahoma and David G. Arent of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; sisters, Jean Ann Straight of Wichita, Kansas, Davenna Brazell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Billie Gail Seymour-Terrell of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Susan D. Seymour of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jennifer J. Seymour of Bethany, Oklahoma and Billie I. McLaughlin of Bethany, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, E.C. and Jenny Seymour, Floyd and Betty Hutson. Casket bearers for the service will be Toby Hutson, John Bettis, Ervin Seymour, David Arent, Mark Terrell, Richard Hutson, Keith Singleton and Brandon Cook. Honorary bearers will be Carter, Jeff McLaughlin, Darion Terrell, James Byrd and Brock Evans. A funeral service will be held at 3:14 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Reverend Wayne Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Tonkawa Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Scotts name at Bank of Oklahoma.
