Ricky Pratt, resident of Red Rock, Oklahoma, passed on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Perry Memorial Hospital. He was 49 years of age. Ricky was born July 29, 1960 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Otto Pratt and Anna Belle Marlow Pratt. He was a 1979 graduate of Red Rock High School. He earned a Associate ArtScience degree from Oscar Rose College in Midwest City. He was working toward his architectural design degree and had already designed several homes and had owned his own business, Pratt Homes of Oklahoma City. He also was a mechanic for the Ponca City Police Department some 8 years. Ricky had been active in soccer, basketball, archery and golf. He also was a participant in the pow-wows as a traditional dancer and was an artist and accomplished bead worker. Ricky is survived by his parents, Otto and Anna Belle Pratt of Red Rock; two daughters, Jordyn Diane and Riley Ann of Oklahoma City; one granddaughter, Gabriel Madison; three brothers, Neal Pratt, of Ponca City, John Pratt of Red Rock, Mark Pratt, Ponca City; two sisters, Henrietta Allen of Red Rock and Stella Gibson of Junction City, Kansas; several other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Doyle Lonelodge. Casket bearers will be John Pratt, Mark Pratt, Neal Pratt, John Ryan Pratt, Stephen Pratt and Terrence Pratt. Honorary casket bearer will be Jerry Potter. A noon meal will be served on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Otoe Baptist Church in Red Rock. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Kenner presiding. Burial will be in the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
