Pam Rawlins, 79, beloved Spouse, mother, grandmother, and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on February 16, 2024. She entered this world on January 29, 1945, in Austin, Texas, born to Frank Ogle and Leta Weed Ogle.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Joseph Highley officiating. Interment will follow in the Longwood Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. In Lieu of flowers the family has asked memorial donations to be made to First Lutheran School Scholarship Fund, Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, or the Humane Society of Ponca City, OK.
Pam attended school in Texas, and she met the love of her life, Jack Rawlins and they were married May 24, 1973, in Denton, TX and they made their first home in Denton, TX. She moved to Ponca City with Jack in 1989.
Pam enjoyed spending time with her family when time permitted. From pre teen Into her young adult years she enjoyed all genre of dance and assisted her instructor with younger students. In college she was on both the gymnastic and fencing teams and medaled a number of times. Always a member of a church choir she sang soprano. She was an accomplished Pastel Artist and she worked at several different Publishing companies through the years. She enjoyed training and riding horses for pleasure and competition events. She loved horses all her life. Pam also enjoyed riding their Tandem Bike, logging hundreds of miles. Pam was a member of the First Lutheran church of Ponca City, OK.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Jack Rawlins of the Home, one daughter; Wendy Tipton and husband, Steven of Jacksonville, FL, four grandchildren; Ashleigh Sweeney and husband Donovan of St Mary’s GA, Nathaniel Tipton and wife Neveen, Andrew Tipton and Angel Tipton, all of Jacksonville, FL, great grandchildren; Donovan JR, Alora Tipton, and Cyruss Tipton, sister in law Mary Ramzel of Bartlesville, OK , and Brother in law Mike Rawlins and wife Diana of Richardson, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Daniel Ogle.
