Nellie Chester

Nellie Chester, 90, of Ponca City, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Ponca City Nursing and Rehab Center. Nellie was born on July 13, 1921 in Ponca City, OK to H. and Sarah Lynn Watson Chester.

Nellie attended Attucks Schools, was a member of St. John Baptist Church and had been a Nurses Aide at Shawn Manor and Ponca City Medical Center.
Nellie had been married to Elroy Pollard. He preceded her in death as well as her parents and brotherAG Chester. Her CousinVirginia A. Williams passed away the day before Nellie passed.

Nellie is survived by her cousins Debbie Williams of Ponca City, Sherri Pollard of Ponca City, Regenia Gates of Ponca City, Valarie Abington of Arkansas City, Kansas and Lucretia Lambert of Ponca City.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery.
