Lori Dawn Adams, Ponca City resident, died on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Ponca City Medical Center. She was 37 years old. Lori was born on July 10, 1972 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Joseph M. Schiltz and Cindi DeAnne Adams. She attended Frontier High School in Red Rock, Oklahoma. Lori was a Certified Nurses Assistant and she enjoyed working with older people. Lori was a very creative lady who loved writing poems and songs. She was a singer and was graced with a lovely soft singing voice. Lori enjoyed being outdoors and all of the activities it offered and she could always be found traveling, camping, fishing or picnicking. She loved people and animals, especially horses. She is survived by her loving sons, Christian Adams and Jacob Adams; parents, Cindi and Tavo Montes, Ralph and Debbie Mangrum and Joe and Jenny Schiltz; brothers and sisters, Misty Nuttle and husband, Ricky, David Mangrum and wife, Janelle, Janie Schiltz, Tara Harrison and husband, Jack, Angela Schiltz, Joseph Schiltz and wife, Lorna and Jessica Schiltz; grandparents, Isabell Adams, Patricia and Joe Schiltz and Mary Ruth Pogue; numerous nieces and nephews and three special friends, Justin King, Amanda Goodman and Traycee Thompson. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Burt Adams, Cliff and Evelyn Mangrum, Frederick Pogue and Mabel Mangrum; numerous aunts and uncles; and one niece, Stephanie Mangrum. Casket bearers for the service will be Justin King, Isiah Adams, Toby Burdick, Gary Adkins, Jeremy Rowe and Rusty Short. Honorary bearers will be Mike Riggs and Aaron Riggs. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor, Chris Short officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up for Loris children care of Misty Nuttle.
