Linda K. Felty Fowler Wroblewski, Ponca City resident, passed away on Friday, July 09, 2010 at the Ponca City Medical Center. She was 62.
Linda was born to Jack J.C. C. Felty and Mary Agnes Buck Felty on May 18, 1948 in Altus, Oklahoma. She grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School with the class of 1966. Linda was a waitress at the Anchor Caf in Ponca City and later she worked at the Cornerstone Restaurant. She enjoyed camping, going on picnics and traveling to Branson, Missouri. Linda loved going to the bowling alley each week to watch her sons, Crane and Steve bowl she also enjoyed watching her niece and nephew play baseball and softball too.
Linda is survived by her sons, Crane Fowler and Steve Fowler of Ponca City, Oklahoma one brother, Ronnie Felty of Ponca City, Oklahoma nieces, Angie Neufeld and husband, Cory, Keshia Felty and Mea Deon Felty one aunt, Gladys Britt, Reno, Nevada one great nephew, Greysen Neufeld one great niece, Gillien Neufeld and her beloved dog, Olly.
She is preceded in death by her parents daughter, Shawn Renee Felty and grandmother, Cora Buck.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at 111 North 11th Street. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Reverend Coy Whitener will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 1904 North Union, Ste.103 Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601.
