Linda Meyers, Mom, was ready on April 13, 2016 when she was called home to be with her parents, Bill and Anna Webb, and her siblings Billy Webb, Rosetta Billington and Barbara Tamberella. Born on November 4, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the third of 7 children. She is survived by a sister, Darlene Wendlandt of Hudson, WI and 2 brothers, Jason Webb of Philadelphia, PA and Wayne Webb of Colonial Heights, VA.
Mom enjoyed the comfort of her home in Newkirk, OK and being close to her family for many years. Her loss will be mourned, yet her life celebrated, by her daughters, Dawn and Kenneth Brakey of Kaw City, OK, Elly Smith of Bentonville, AR, Vicky and Pete Ewing of Ponca City, OK and JoAnn Legault (Bean) of Wildwood, IL. Her memory will live on in her 11 grandchildren; Kristina Tosh, Kenny Thomas, Trea Brakey, Jimmy Brakey, Michael Brakey, Amanda Heller, Easten Wright, Katie Ewing, Meggen Marr, Courtney Smith, Corbin Smith, and 4 great grandchildren; Kaidence Hartl, Karter Tosh, GraceLynn McCammon and Keenen McCammon
Although our hearts are heavy we must find comfort in knowing that Mom is at peace and was ready to join her family in Heaven. We must remember that it's the little things in life that matter most, with Mom being one of the biggest little things in many of the lives she touched. Whether it was playing a simple card game like Phase 10 with her family, her "making her rounds" by calling her family often, or just "rattling her goat", she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed every day by those included in her regular routine. She loved her family and had opened her heart more in recent years than ever before, letting us all know that we were loved.
Mom enjoyed family gatherings, her days at the Golden Villa playing cards with her closest friends and having pajama days at home watching her shows. She led a simple and happy life filled with love, laughter and family. We will forever be thankful for being her family. We love you Mom. This is our night night call.
