Lee Eric Drapp, affectionately known by many as Uncle Dude or Hunkin Dude, passed away on June 30, 2024, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, at the age of 30. Born on December 20, 1993, in Cushing, Oklahoma, Eric grew up to be a cherished member of his community, known for his loving, funny, generous, protective, affectionate, brave, adventurous, and creative spirit.
Eric was a man of remarkable versatility. He attended Ponca City High School and later embarked on a career that showcased his diverse skills. He was a certified electrician apprentice and a skilled painter and held various roles in management, carpentry, and masonry. Beyond his professional life, Eric had many hobbies. He enjoyed solving Rubik’s cubes, building various projects, and relishing the great outdoors.
Eric is survived by his daughter, Erica Drapp; his son, Dayven Drapp; his parents, Bobbie and Earl Watkins; his siblings, Taquela Watkins, Darren Drapp, Charee Fazekas and husband Jesse, Shanae Redleaf, and husband Roman; his grandmothers, Shelby Ward, and Marie Kirk; and numerous uncles, aunts, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Drapp; his brother, Darren Drapp; his grandfather, Lou Drapp; and his grandmother, Ameda Harrison “GaGa”.
A service to honor and remember Eric’s life will be held at Grace Memorial Chapel, located at 2016 N 14th St, Ponca City, OK on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jack Adams officiating. We invite all who knew and loved Eric to join us in this celebration of his life.
