Lana Burris-Walker

Baby Lana Rose Burris Walker, infant daughter of Laverne Burris and Gary Walker, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 3 months and 11 days. Lana was born October 31, 2008 in Tulsa. She is survived by her parents, Laverne and Gary; her maternal grandfather, Gary Burris of Lawton, Oklahoma and her paternal grandmother, Darlene Walker of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two brothers, Gabriel Gage Walker and Simon Leroy Walker; six uncles and five aunts. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Gladys Roughface and one sister, Gabriella Walker. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Ponca Indian Methodist Church with Bro. Jimmy White presiding. Interment will be in the Ponca Indian Tribal Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Casket bearers will be Gary Walker and Kenny Walker. Honorary casket bearers will be her brothers, Gabriel Walker and Simon Walker.
