Keaton Anthony James left this world unexpectedly on May 28, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born to Carrie Warrior and Richard “Tat” James, Jr. on July 27, 2005 in Ponca City.
He attended Tulsa Public Schools and was employed at Little Caesar’s Pizza. He loved family gatherings, basketball, making money, working, and listening to music and smoking.
Keaton is survived by his mom, Carrie Warrior Jimboy and stepdad Alan; his dad, Richard James, Jr.; his brothers and sisters: Waylon and wife Promise Jimboy and Aaron, Connor, Theodore, and Trey James of Ponca City, Isaac McGee, John Warrior Jr of Tulsa, OK, John Warrior III or Newkirk, Calvin and Danny Lieb of Tulsa, Xzavier and Kohbe Albert of Tulsa, Micah, Taylor, and Caleb James of Tulsa, Markayla Harjo of Tulsa, Danika of Catoosa; his grandparents: Debra Grant of Newkirk, John Warrior Sr. of Ponca City, Richard and Lela James of Tulsa, Genelle Jimboy of Tulsa, Scott Lieb of Tulsa, and his niece Savannah Lynn James. Also left to cherish his memories are numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, and nephews; Athena and Koah Jimboy, Sonnie, Jordan, AK and Liela James of Tulsa, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Wayne Warrior, and brother, Dewayne Louis James.
Services, under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel, will be held on Friday, June 2nd, 2023, 2 p.m., at the Ponca Cultural Center with Pastor Jimmy White and Reverend Dr. Louis Headman officiating. Pallbearers will be Waylon Jimboy, Aaron James, Connor James, Theodore James, Knocka Lewis, and Albert Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are Fernando Macedo, Isaac McGee, Xzavier Albert, Kohbe Albert, John Warrior Jr., John Warrior III, Calvin Lieb, Danny Lieb, and Caleb Pigeon.
