Joseph LeClair, 44, of Ponca City, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at Ponca City Medical Center.
Joe was born on January 22, 1969 in Claremore, OK to Jesse and Mable BlueBack LeClair. Joe was a lifelong area resident, liked to play dominoes, chess and shinny. Joe was a general laborer in construction. Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents Harry Ethel BlueBack and Pete Ada LeClair, his parents, 2 sisters Ethel LeClair and Vivian LeClair.
Joe is survived by his wife Cathy, 3 Brothers Harry BlueBack, Jesse LeClair, Jr. and Levi Martinez all of Ponca City, 4 sisters Gina Berryhill of Okemah, Melinda LeClair of Ponca City, Ashley LeClair of Ponca City and Scarla Morton of Tennessee.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kasper and the CCU Nurses at Ponca City Medical Center for their care and attention during this time.
Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Traditional Meal at noon, Thursday, March 7, 2013 with Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. all at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center. Brother Jimmy White and Doug Eagle will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery, White Eagle, OK.
Casket Bearers will be Rusty Short, Frank Overland, Gary Webster, Garland Pappan, Jr., Amarbe Pappan, Jr. and John DeHart. Honorary Casket Bearers will be his nephews.
Services are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
