Jose Fulgencio Palomo, 76, of Heyburn, Idaho , died on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at his home.
Jose was born January 16, 1934 in Alamo, Texas the son of Juan Palomo and Bonifacia Perez Palomo. He was a locomotive engineer for Amalgamated Sugar Industry for several years in Paul Idaho. Jose married Alicia Valenzuela on May 7, 1961 in Harlingen, Texas and to this union, seven children were born. Jose enjoyed playing the accordion. He also enjoyed gardening and his lawn was always beautiful. Jose treasured his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, Rene Palomo and wife, Sherry of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Joe F. Palomo Jr. and wife, Vita of Chandler, Arizona, Zozimo Palomo of Portland, Oregon, Alejandro Palomo and wife, Rachel of Meridian, Idaho, Margarita P. Hernandez and husband, Jose L. of Nampa, Idaho and Yolanda Rangel and husband, Petro T. of Heyburn, Idaho grandchildren, Jose Luis Hernandez, Jr., Brooke Thalia Palomo, Jacqueline Mia Hernandez, Pedro T. Rangel Jr., Logan Walker Palomo, Jacob Riley Palomo, Alfredo Rangel, Isaac Rojas Palomo, Analyssa Roze Rangel and Ysabel Selma Rangel and brothers, Santiago Palomo and Fransisco Palomo.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonifacia wife, Alicia son, Alfredo Palomo and brother, Valentino Palomo.
The memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2010 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
