Jonathan(J.T.) Mark Thomas of Ponca City, OK has gone to heaven. He was 55 years old. He was born on April 21st 1967 in Claremore, OK to Kenneth Kemble, Sr. and Phyllis Teresa Brown Kemble. He graduated from Ponca City High School with the class of 1985 and then enrolled at NOC in Tonkawa. He lived and worked in Ponca City for many years. He married the love of his life, Vicki Sue Jones in Ponca city on April 16, 2010. He worked as a cable installer for Cable One for 19 years. J.T. also worked for the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma for over 10 years. He enjoyed working on old classic cars, watching college sports, and loved sweets. He was an avid OSU fan watching football, basketball, wrestling and more as long as OSU was playing, he was rooting got them to win.
He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Kemble and twin daughters Estelle Thomas and Stella Thomas, as well as brother Randy Kemble, Sr. and sister Kellie Big Bear, also preceding him are his maternal grandmother Bertha Cries For Ribs and Paternal Grandparents Edmund and Rita Mae Kemble. Of honorable mention is dog “Blue”
He leaves behind to mourn his loss his wife Vicki of the home, son Christopher Thomas and his wife Roxanne of Edmond, OK, son Marcon Thomas of the home, daughter Kaylie Thomas of the home, sister Rene Kemble of Ponca City, OK, sister Michelle Kemble and her husband James Warrior, Sr. of Ponca City, OK, brother Kenny Kemble of Ponca City, OK, brother Delano Kemble and his wife Charla of Albuquerque, NM, numerous nieces and nephews, dog “Nacho and cat “Boots”
Traditional Tribal Services will begin with noon feast on Monday August 15, 2022, at the Ponca Cultural Center in White Eagle, OK. Funeral service under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel will be officiated by pastor Brandon Kemble and will begin at 2p.m. at Ponca Cultural Center on Monday August 15, 2022 with burial to follow at the Ponca Indian Cemetery in White Eagle, OK.
Casket bearers for the service will include Christopher Thomas and Marcos Thomas, her sons and Jalen Kemble, Gabe Pappan, Thomas Pappan, III and Little Man Pappan. Honorary Bearers will include Kenny Kemble, Delano Kemble, Defore Pappan, Rando Brown, Big Elk Jones, Sonny Jones, Sammy Talamantes, Lorenzo Talamantes, Adam Talamantes, Josh Jones, Bennett Arkeketon, Rudy Brown, AJ Carney, Tony Red Leaf, Son Pappan, Lonnie Roy, Gene Pappan, Steve Bear, Joe Randall Thomspon, Randall Kemble, Jr. Danny Boy Morales, Bennett Crazy Bear, June Bug Paschal, Richard Billy, Derek Billy, Jeff Backus and many more, too many to list here.
