Jo Gauger

Jo Grace Gauger, 85, longtime resident of Osage CountyMcCord District, went to meet her Lord on Friday, July 18, 2014.
Jo was born on February 26, 1929 in rural Osage County east of Ponca City to Gus Lemuel and Grace Majel Ruby Hess.

Jo was a 1947 graduate of Ponca City High School. She the graduated from Pioneer Vo Tech LPN School. Jo and Harold Bruce Gauger were married on May 8, 1948 in Newkirk. Her beloved husband passed away on March 6, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents, older brotherGus, JR, brothersinlaw Glen, Leroy, Ray, Curley and Tommy, Sisterinlaw Bonnie, nephewLarry and niece Wanda Thompson.

Her loves were her family, being an LPN, classical music, taking fishing trips to Old Mexico, growing flowers and her cocker spaniel, PETE.

Jo is survived by two children Son and his wife David Debbie Gauger of Scottsdale, AZ and Marilyn Gauger of OKC. One brother John Hess and his wifeWanda of Ponca City, two sistersinlaw Neva Klumpp of Ponca City and Irene Gauger of Burbank, OK, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2014 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Waterloo officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery of Ponca City.
