Jo Friend

Jo Ella Friend, Tonkawa resident passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at her home. She was 98.
Jo Ella was born September 13, 1912 the daughter of Henderson J. Mink and Martha Smith Mink in Childress, Texas. She married Richard H. Friend on May 29, 1943 in Ponca City, Oklahoma and to this union, one child, Pamela was born. Jo Ella worked in the laundry business for many years. Her enjoyments included reading, watching game shows, picking up pecans and word search puzzles. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Lisa Butterfield great grandchildren, Alexis Keltner, Abby Keltner, Aryn Kitchell, Ashton Keltner, Bradyn Keltner and Breckyn Butterfield and soninlaw, Ken Gaskill.
She is preceded in death by her parents daughter, Pamela Gaskillbrothers, Sola, Theodore, Henderson, Raymond, Norman and Patrick and sisters, Bessie and Cordie.
The memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Ken Gaskill presiding.
