Jean Clapp

Jean Clapp, 89, of Ponca City, passed away, Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Ponca City Nursing Rehab Center.
Jean was daughter of Clara Bonner, born on November 28, 1924 in Haileyville, OK.
Jean moved to Ponca City in the 1950s with her daughter, Sharon. She owned and operated several restaurants including, Jeans, Jeans 2, Dick Runts, Corner Burger and Jeans Lasso. She enjoyed working and more importantly, she enjoyed taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, stepfather, daughterSharon Anderson who passed in 2009. 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Jean is survived by 2 grandchildren and their spouses Kimberly and Don Anderson of Ponca City and Guy Cody Swopes of Newkirk. Her favorite SonInLaw Ernest Anthony, 6 great grandchildren Gregory, Kaitlyn, Tia, Tori, Warren Ryan and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
