Everette Eason Howe, age 45, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at White Eagle. Eason was born July 26, 1963 at Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Earl Howe Sr. and Vivian Moore Howe. He attended grade school in Ponca City and graduated from the Sequoia Indian School in Tahlequah. Eason was of the Baptist faith and his enjoyments included visiting others at the 9th Street Mission in Ponca City. He is survived by one son, Drake McConnell of Wellston, Oklahoma and one daughter, Desiree McConnell of California; several other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Earl Howe Jr. and Eric Howe; one sister, Vanice Cornell. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery near Red Rock with Rev. Louis V. Headman presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Casket bearers will be Earl Howe IV, Tomas Hernandez, Roberto Ochoa, Wiley Whitehorn, Drake McConnell and Edwardo Mendoza. Honorary casket bearers will be Reigh Howe, Wendell Rodgers, Danny Lee Page, Adam LeClair, Bud Collins and Jesse LeClair Jr.
