Eve Neel, was born in Los Angeles, California on August 10, 1951 to Harry Herschel Neel and Edna Eilleen Hyde. Eve departed this life to join her loved ones in the presence of the Lord on February 8, 2021. Though Eve was born in California, she spent the majority of her 69 years in Texas. Eve married her high school sweetheart, Glenn Alan Dailey on April 1, 1969 and together they raised two sons, Alan Lee Dailey and Brian Glenn Dailey. Eve and Glenn were also blessed with three perfect grandsons, Christopher Alan Dailey, Blake Alexander Dailey and Benjamin Adam Dailey.
Eve's favorite role was that of homemaker. She also enjoyed working at United States Steel/Oilwell as a product specialist and later went on to become and retire as a legal secretary in Dallas, Texas. Her favorite pastimes included road trips, camping, cooking and, most of all, spending time with family--especially her grandsons. Eve loved kids of all ages and her sons' friends would call her "mom" and her grandsons' friends would call her "Grame." She never judged them, just loved them all. Her home was always a safe haven.
Eve passed from this life on Monday, February 8, 2021 at her home in Ponca City, Oklahoma where she had moved in recent years to be closer to her youngest son and her twin grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Herschel Neel and Edna Eilleen Neel, her brother George Edward Potts and by her oldest grandson, Christopher Alan Dailey. She is survived by her sons Alan Lee Dailey and Brian Glenn Dailey and by her twin grandsons, Blake Alexander and Benjamin Adam Dailey, her daughter-in-law Barbi Dailey, her siblings, Glenda Neal, Claudia Ferguson, Jerrod Neel and Jennifer Glubke and their families.
Instead of flowers, if you feel so moved, we would request that you make a donation in Eve's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or any other organization with a focus on helping children.
A memorial service will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Kaw City Ok 74641.
