Dustin Fields, Newkirk Resident died on July 20, 2021.
Memorial Services will be held on August 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Newkirk , OK
Dustin Alexander Fields was born on January 12, 1984 in Ponca City, OK the son of Kenneth Gene Fields and Carmen Marie (Counterman) Fields.
He was many things to many people, a husband, son, brother, friend, uncle, but the most important title he held was Father.
As a young children Dustin and Kendra would share the same room. When Kindra would get scared she would have him come and sleep in the same bed, so she would feel safe. And also, if there was something there, he would get eaten first!
As Children, Randy would offer prizes for Dustin and Kindra to compete for. One snowy day Randy did just that, he had a sucker and said whom ever can run to the alley and back the fastest with no shoes on would win. As they took off, Kindra was the fastest, she made it to the alley first and turned around to find both her brothers just laughing at her frozen feet and blue legs. “Still waiting on my sucker!”
The Mudflats is where Dustin would spend a lot of his childhood camping, hunting and fishing. He was the best snipe hunter in our family (Lol). He would later on bring his own family to this special place.
One of his favorite things was to go fishing with his kids. He loved making them set a tot line so they would be soaked while he was dry on the bank. He thought this was funny.;
He loved going to the Bone Thugs concert with his big brother Randy. Where they would spend the whole night waiting for their favorite song “Crossroads” to be played.
He had his Four year old daughter Rylie that he went and got the moon “Just for Her”.
There is a lifetime of memories, too many to list. He may be lost but never forgotten.
We Love you to the moon and back.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Fields who was his best friend, his mother, Carmen Fields of Newkirk, OK;
And someone who he has described on many occasions as beautiful, amazing, awesome with out a doubt his personal hero, His big sister Kindra Bey; his children Richard Miller, aka P.A.; Taylor Redford, Josh Fields, Ashlynne Fields, Jenny Fields, Sapphire, Fields Crimson Fields, Rylie Fields,
His sister-in-law Aimee Fields, Brother- in- law Dominique Bay,
