Donna Laramie

Donna Lynn Laramie, former resident of Ponca City, passed Wednesday, July 29, 2009 in Midwest City. She was 60. Donna was born February 26, 1949 in Lucedale, Mississippi, the daughter of DeVaugh Dale Lemke and Bonnie Ruth Naylor Lemke. Her early schooling was received in the Ponca City Public Schools and she graduated from Del City High School. She was employed at one time as an insurance underwriter. Her enjoyments included reading, cross stitch, watching the Discovery Channel and following politics. She is survived by one daughter, Deidre Laramie and one son, Michael Laramie and wife, Regina, all of Midwest City; five grandchildren, Brittany, Breanna, Allyssa, Adriana and Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2009 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Father John Michalicka of St. Marys Catholic Church presiding. Interment will be in the Newkirk Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. Casket bearers will be Michael Laramie, Shane McCarthy, Steven Borst, Jamie Randolph, Chad Perth and Christopher Fowler.
