Dianna (Bix) Thompson, 83, beloved mother, grandmother and sister was called to her eternal resting place on March 11, 2022. She entered this world on April 3, 1938 in Red Rock, Oklahoma to Grant Bassett and Lena (Shadlow) Bassett. Dianna attended school in Red Rock and graduated in 1956. On January 12, 1959 she married Bernice Coleman Thompson and together they had three children.
Dianna had many loves in her life, her most loved was her family. She also loved the Dallas Cowboys, red muscle cars, and going to casinos. Dianna was also a very independent person and her self determination shaped her into the lady she was and she never believed a goal was too high to reach.
She is survived by her son Bernie Len Thompson granddaughter Taylor Len, grandson Patrick, one brother Dennis (Punkin) Black, sisters Phoebe (Dolly) Miller and Vickey (JoAnn) Hautter; as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is and will always be loved and missed by many.
Dianna was preceded in death by her husband Bernice, daughter Cynthia Marie, son Mark Ryan, one grandson Andrew, and two sisters Regina and Karen.
A viewing and evening prayer service will be held on Sunday March 13, 2022 at 7 p.m. at the Otoe Baptist Church in Red Rock, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jimmy Kenner officiating. Casket bearers will be Len Thompson, Mike Black, Josh Black, Tim Bassett, Dennis Black, and Joe Hill.
