Diana Phillips

d. November 1, 2012

Diana Ropp Phillips59, of Ponca City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 1, 2012 at her residence.

Diana was born on December 3, 1952 in Ponca City. Diana lived her life in the most beautiful place her eyes had seen in the U.S.A., The Smoky Mountains. Diana had worked for many years as a manager for KSM Enterprises and Regan Enterprises, which were multimillion dollar companies that ran Hotels, Resorts and Convention Centers in the Smoky Mountains. When she retired from those companies, she had her own business, dog grooming and bred 25 lb. Maltese. Many attorneys and doctors bought her tiny Maltese and country stars ordered everyone they could get.

Diana loved to camp and bass fishing in TN. Diana loved animals. She took bad cases, brought them back to good health with lots of love and trained them before she placed them in new homes.

When Diana learned of her plans of being called home with her acute leukemia, she was down to finishing her last five animals. She hopes family and friends will help finish her job.

Diana had been married to Don McVay of Ponca City. Years later she married Randall W. Chambers of Marysville, TN. On May 1, 2000, she married Fred Ropp and had been with him ever since. Diana followed in passing her parents Leslie Jerry and Bessie Mae Selvidge Harrison, Brothers Sisters Robert Sisco, Carl Sisco, Johnny Sisco, Leona Duncan, Lorraine Sanders, Betty Sisco and Robbie Elaine Guinn.

Diana is survived by her husband Fred Ropp, StepDauBrandi Stevenson, 1 BrotherPaul Sisco of Ponca City, 1 SisterInola Stewart of Wichita, KS, 11 Foster Children, many nieces and nephews and many great Nieces and great Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Diana has requested donations to be made to Fred Ropp in order to cover expenses for spaying, neutering, teeth repair and placing the remaining animals that she did not have time to complete.

Memorial Services will be, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the Grace Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Wildman officiating.
