David Thomas Eagle, Jr. was born on May 1, 1986 to David Thomas Eagle, Sr. and Manuella Warrior Willis. His Ponca name is --- Niki Wakanda, “Walks with God”. David enjoyed watching football, his favorite team was the Green Bay Packers and the OU Sooners. He also liked playing card and video games with his friends over his favorite dish, pizza. David loved his cats especially Vader. Metal was his favorite choice of music but above all else he enjoyed spending time with his daughter, “Baby” Mandi and stepson, Elliot. He was a gentle man who loved spending time with his family and friends.
To our sorrow, David left this world for a new life on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Before he made the decision to leave he acknowledged Christ and became a Christian. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, three aunts, three uncles, one brother, Darryl Warrior and one niece, Megan. Left to remember him is his companion, Adrienne Williams, stepson Elliot, daughter Manuella, his parents, David and Manuella, stepfather Marc Willis, older sister Marlene Eagle of Oklahoma City, brothers Florenz Warrior of Ada, Richard Warrior of Sulphur, and a host of aunts, uncles and relatives.
Pallbearers will be Ira Primeaux, Warren Rhodd, Jonathan Simpson, Corey Simpson, Enos Rhodd, Sylvester Rhodd, Henry Rhodd, and Florenz warrior.
A Sunday evening prayer service will be held at the Cultural Center at 7 pm. Burial service will follow on Monday at 2:00 pm with the Rev Jim White officiating.
