Darryl Ray Jackson, lifetime resident of Ponca city, Oklahoma, was found departed from this earth on July 16, 2019, at the age of 69. Services are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 26 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Darryl was born June 10, 1950, in Ponca City to Sebron Max Jackson and Ruth Nadine (Hoogendoorn) Jackson. He attended Lincoln grade school, West Junior High, and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1969. Darryl Ray was married to Deborah Ann Holt in September 1974. They had two sons, Christopher Ray Jackson and Derek Kane Jackson. Darryl was a member of the labor union with the majority of his career building scaffolds. He enjoyed spending time with his boys in their younger years and was very fond of his cats.
Darryl is survived by one son Derek Kane Jackson and wife Shanna of Ponca City. Four grandchildren: Kaydee Jackson, Benjamin Jackson, Raygan Kimbrough, and Blake Lawson. He is also survived by one sister Karen Kay Edmonds and husband Charles of Marland.
Darryl was preceded in death by one son Christopher Ray Jackson, two sisters, Janis Fay Rowe, Donna Gay Phillips and half brother Robert Jackson.
