Cheryl Lynn Rhodd, 42, of Ponca City passed from this life on July 21, 2024. Cheryl was born on April 4th 1982, to Sylvia Roy Rhodd and Bear Rhodd, in Ponca City, Ok. She attended Ponca City Schools and proudly repped being a Roosevelt Rough Rider. These early years were spent living on 4th street and in Carbon Black. She attended Job Corp in Tahlequah, OK for her high school years. After graduating returned home to White Eagle, OK, where she spent her adult years. Cheryl loved cooking and trying new recipes she finds, going to garage sales with her mom, very artsy so nothing was ever left non colorful or boring, she liked certain foods a little burnt, but she also loved burning her “plants”. She also loved doing hair and took pride in her daughter's hair. And she always had to have her music. She loved being around her family. Having three girls of her own and surrounding herself with her nieces and nephews. She was everyone’s Momma. Wherever she was at, her babies weren’t too far behind. Cheryl had a special bond with each of her daughters. She could be wrestling with them, taking late night cruises, or watching her reality and True Crime shows, always Baddies on Sundays, and especially the funny talks that we sat and laughed at forever, but through whatever she chose to do, she always chose to be right next to her girls. That’s how she loved to spend her time.
She will most be remembered for her beautiful smile, always bragging about how she “never had braces”, how she always was laughing and liked teasing and picking on people she liked or loved. If she couldn’t tease and joke with you... She probably didn’t like you. LOL! Cheryl was anything but a bully though. She was the definition of a true friend, a true sister. And one of the most encouraging friends you could ever have. The most loyal person to everyone she loved. It was always, “Mind over matter” with her, and through every milestone she said, “It’s not sad, it’s bittersweet”. But you couldn’t find a better person to have your back. Cheryl was truly a one in a million friend, sister, auntie and mother.
She is survived by; Daughters; Léila Allen, TaTiana Jaidice Allen, Jaicia Allen. Nephews; Kyle Harvey, Kellan Harvey, Christopher Lasley, Nieces; Tierra Lasley, RyLee Lasley, Swaizii Rhodd.
