Charles Overholt

Charles Chuck William Overholt, Ponca City resident, died on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at his home. He was 68.
Chuck was born on October 17, 1942 in Blackwell, Oklahoma the son of Charles Walter Overholt and Virgie L. Aven Overholt. He graduated from Blackwell High School in 1960. He later attended NOC, OBU and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chuck was employed for Darr Equipment for 23 years and later with Holt Caterpillar Co., in Fort Worth, Texas.
He married Ann Williams on January 14, 1993 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Chuck was a member of First Assembly of God in Ponca City.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann of the home children, Chatti Ellason and husband, Roy of Arlington, Texas, Jennifer Parks of Grande Prairie, Texas, Johnathan John Overholt and wife, Melanie of Fort Worth, Texas, Ben Overholt and wife, Sabrina of Weatherford, Texas, Melony Engstrom and husband, Chad of Lagrange, Maine and Shari Brooks and husband, Davie of Fowler, Colorado one sister, Carolyn Heskett and husband, Delvin of Crescent, Oklahoma 21 grandchildren nine great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2010 at First Assembly of God in Ponca City with Pastor John Conway, Hilltop Family Church of Spring Town, Texas officiating.
