Charles F. DeNoya, resident of Ponca City, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 in Oklahoma City. He was 61 years of age.
Charles was born July 12, 1950 in Ponca City, the son of Marcus Franklin Sonny DeNoya and Helen Gertrude Morris DeNoya. He was a 1969 graduate of Ponca City High School. He was employed as a custodian at Conoco with the Harvard Maintenance Company. His enjoyments included riding motorcycles, working on his Harley, reading, fishing and music.
He is survived by two children, Carly Danielle DeNoya and Peter Austin DeNoya one brother, Joseph DeNoya, and wife Kristi, of Ponca City, and one sister, Bea Mason and husband Jim, of Oklahoma City several grandchildren that includes Robert Dale who Charles help raise one nephew, Jeremy DeNoya two nieces, Kimberly Troutman and husband Darren, and Jamie Mason.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Darren Troutman presiding. Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
Casket bearers will be Peter DeNoya, Robert DeNoya, Gary Carver, Jerry Brown, Thomas Meyer and Jake Marteney. Honorary casket bearers will be Blake Troutman, Jason Troutman and Chance Troutman.
