Charles Edward Jim Caudill, former Ponca City resident, passed away November 8, 2013 with his daughter Susie and her husband Dennis holding his hand and telling him how much they loved him.
Jim was born November 28, 1932 to Wallace and Evelyn Caudill. With his father passing at an early age, he was raised by his stepfather Logan and Mother Evelyn Murphy.
He entered the Air Force December 16, 1952 and was honorably discharged December 15, 1956 receiving a National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was an ASME code welder and worked most of his life in the northeast. Jim loved to travel.
Jim married Rita Roslyn Nelson and of this union was born two daughters, Susie and Tammy Caudill of Ponca City. He then later married Josephine Gladfelter and to this union was born Chris, Melissa and Beth Caudill of Claremore. Jim and Josephine divorced in 2002.
Jim loved to play golf with his daughter Susie and soninlaw Dennis Estes. But even more fun was laughing at Dennis giving Susie a hard time about anything Jim would never participate in giving Susie a hard time but sure loved to laugh at Dennis giving Susie a hard time Susie and Dennis really had a great time golfing, cooking, eating and laughing with Dad They miss him so much
Jim is survived by his daughter Susie Estes and husband Dennis of Tulsa, grandson Brandon Roberts and wife Whitney of Ponca City, granddaughter Tia Swopes of Ark City, Kansas, granddaughter Lacey Sisco and husband Lance of Red Rock. He is also survived by great grand children Thomas Byford of Red Rock and Emma Roberts of Ponca City. Jim is also expecting his great granddaughter Addison Sisco at the end of December of Red Rock.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters, first wife Rita in 2010, daughter Tammy Swopes in 2011, and second wife Josephine.

Graveside rites will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the I.O.O.F Cemetery with Chaplain Tom Howard of Hospice of North Central Oklahoma officiating.
