Cecilia Mae (Pepper) Coble, 80, passed away on February 4, 2025. She was born September 19, 1944, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, to William Robinson Pepper, Jr. and Lavina Rose Steele.

On September 22, 1962, Cecilia married Johnny Lee Coble, Sr. in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life in Burbank, Oklahoma, where they opened a Phillips 66 gas station and raised their three children. Cecilia found joy in reading and was deeply involved in her children’s school activities. She attended school plays, basketball games, and 4-H events. She also enjoyed engaging with the patrons of their gas station, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.

In 1970, the family moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma, where Cecilia continued to be an active and devoted mother and grandmother. She attended countless basketball games, cheerleading events, school plays, talent shows, band concerts, and bowling tournaments in support of her nine grandchildren. Later in life, she cherished the time spent with her family and could always be found with a book in her hand.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved aunt Cecilia S. Mayse, her husband Johnny Lee Coble, Sr., and her sister Martha Spotted Bear.

She is survived by her brother Bill Pepper, loving children: Debbie Coble, Johnny Lee Coble, Jr., and Timothy Lee Coble. She leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren: Eugene Coble, Nicholas Coble, Eric Coble, Karri Kershner, Bailey Coble, Gabrielle West, Abby Coble, Brianna Kinyon, and Sydney Coble, as well as nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
