Billie Marie Dickover, longtime Tonkawa resident, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at her home at the age of 86. Billie was born January 15, 1929 in Maud, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alton B. Troutt and Delia Mae (Koonce) Troutt. Her maternal grandparents were Theo and Ida Reneger Koonce. Her paternal grandparents were Albert and Lula Troutt. She grew up in Durant, Oklahoma and graduated from Durant High School in 1947.

On June 3, 1948 she married Bill Gene Dickover in the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant. The couple made their first home in Guthrie, Oklahoma where Bill was pastor of the Centerview Baptist Mission. They were blessed with three children, Margaret Jane, Donna Sue and David Alan. Bill and Billie served in a number of churches throughout the state of Oklahoma, retiring from the ministry in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Billie loved her role as a pastor's wife and counted it a privilege to serve God in this way. She always taught a Sunday School class, ranging from children to senior adult women. She also loved teaching God's word in many bible study classes. Billie worked at Service Bank of Tonkawa for thirteen years, and at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa for twelve years. She retired from Northern Oklahoma College in 1997 and later returned to work there part-time.

Billie was a member of Sunset Baptist Church, Ponca City where she had taught the Esther Sunday School Class since 2001.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret Montemurro, of Tonkawa; her son David Dickover and wife Shelly, of Tonkawa; her grandchildren, Kyle Stuart and wife Holly, Millicent Montemurro, Frank Montemurro and wife Ashley, Darcy Rangel and husband Rogelio, Darin Dickover, U.S. Marine Corp, Megan Montemurro, Darah Dickover and Daree Dickover. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, Kellen and Corbin Stuart, Kasen Trejo, Kalon Enloe, Paul and Vivian Montemurro. She is also survived by her sister Helen Jones, half-sister Vetress Holt and husband Doug; many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Zelda Merritt, other extended family and many dear friends.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband Bill; her father, Alton Troutt; her stepmother, Mabel Troutt; her mother, Delia Rackley; her step-father, Charley Rackley; her daughter, Donna Stuart; her son-in-law, Paul Montemurro; and her precious seven year old granddaughter, Melanie Dawn Avant.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Grace Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Tonkawa First Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Brown, pastor of Sunset Baptist Church presiding. Bob Smith will be the assisting minister. Interment will follow in the Tonkawa I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Casket bearers are Kyle Stuart, Frank Montemurro, Rogelio Rangel, Scott Cloud, Kevin Ingmire and Roy Lopeman. Honorary casket bearer is Darin Dickover.
