Alvin Collins

Alvin Dale Collins, 68, of Kaw City, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in OKC. Born on July 7, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to Wilbur and Irene Inscho Collins.
Alvin was raised in the Wichita area and graduated from the East High School. He was a tool machinist for Boeing Aircraft. He had lived in Kaw City since 1997. He and Valerie Petty were married on July 3, 1999 in Kaw City.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents.
Alvin in survived by his wifeValerie, 7 Children Barry Harris of Wichita, John Collins of Wichita, Jeanette Christy of Haysville, KS, Sheila Porter of Wichita, Debbie Nguyen of Wichita, Lisa Newman of Salina, KS and Marcus Petty of Wichita. BrotherDean Collins of Wichita and 2 sisters Evelyn VanDyke and Carolyn Shilling both of Mobile, AL. 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Stan Allen officiating.
