Alice Marie Brown

Alice Marie Brown, resident of Ponca City, passed Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Ponca City Medical Center. She was 50 years of age.

Alice was born June 10, 1962 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Eugene Stanley Brown Sr. and Mava Roy Brown. She attended the Ponca City Schools. She was a member of the Ponca Indian Baptist Church. Her enjoyments included spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, listening to music, playing bingo and cooking.

She is survived by her four children, Skyra Haze, SheaLynn Warrior, SunDance Warrior and Shadow Warrior, all of Ponca City four brothers, Phillip Brown Sr. of South Dakota, Cody Brown Sr. of Omaha, Nebraska, Edward Lee Brown of Billings, Oklahoma, and Lamont Brown II of Ponca City three sisters, Martha Brown of Ponca City, Teresa Brown of Billings, Oklahoma, and Eugenia Brown of Ponca City three grandchildren, Xuayginah Haze, Kirissa Rhodd, Kassidy Pratt and Joseph Eugene Brown nephew Michael Joseph Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents her brothers, Eugene Stanley Brown Jr., Curtis Lamar Brown and Kenneth Brown Sr. one grandson, SunDance Warrior Jr.

A memorial service was held February 28, 2013 at the Ponca Indian Baptist Church.
