Albert Alvin Walters, resident of Ponca City, passed Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at his home. He was 80 years of age.
Albert was born February 14, 1930 in the Eastern part of Oklahoma, the son of Paul Walters and Ellen Hubbard. At the age of 17 Albert moved to Oregon where he began employment as a logger. In the late 90s he moved to Arkansas to live near his sister and then moved to Ponca City in January of 2010. His enjoyments included fishing.
He is survived by his three children, Albert Allen Walters, Ponca City, Gwenda Chambers, Ponca City, and Terry Lee Walters of Augusta, Georgia 9 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents one brother, Ed Hubbard one sister, Lorraine Kurpies 2 grandchildren, Alexander Chambers and Zack McDougal.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
