Addenia Donnelly

Addenia Mozelle Donnelly, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was 74. Addenia was born the daughter of Benjamin Albert Foster and Mellie Marie Kidder Foster on August 2, 1934 in Augusta, Kansas. She married Carl Neil Donnelly on November 1, 1949 in El Dorado, Kansas. Addenia was a member of Second Baptist Church. Addenia had many enjoyments which included singing, playing guitar and scrapbooking. She was a very creative lady who enjoyed macram, embroidering, crocheting, ceramics and was always involved with a project. During her younger years she liked cooking and was a cook at Kansas Christian Nursing Home for 12 years. She also enjoyed quilting, an art that she learned from her mother. Addenia enjoyed playing games with her family and friends. She liked all types of card and board games. Addenias main love was her family, with a special love for her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Charlene Stout and husband, John, Barbara Klinger and husband, Mark, Cindy Love and husband, Curtis all of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Carl Neil Donnelly Jr. and wife Seoljeong of Carrollton, Texas, Clifford Donnelly and wife Kristin of Palm City, Florida, David Donnelly and wife, Arelia of Topeka, Kansas, Clinton Donnelly and wife, Terrie of Edmond, Oklahoma and grandchildren, Julia Floyd, Leona Stout, Ericka Nygard, April Stout, Chante Westhoff, Carl Neil Donnelly III, Jennifer Kunz, Elizabeth Smith, Christopher Donnelly, Nick Donnelly, Erin Crawford, Kendra Love, Vonnie Bowman Posch, Andy Adams, Frank Kent, Jennifer Gray, Sheila Henderson, Leslie Donnelly, Kimberly Donnelly and Sara Donnelly; great grandchildren, Courtney Marazas, Thomas John Marazas, Jackson Marazas, Shayla Floyd, Gage Floyd, Logan Stout, Dawson Nygard, Cayden Dorigatti, Jocelyn Dorigatti, Menley Westhoff, Taten Westhoff, Braxton Westhoff, Joseph Donnelly, Moriah Kunz, Asher Kunz, Cedar Kunz, Spring Kunz, Joshua Smith, Timothy Smith, Michael Riviera, Victoria Bowman, Jonathan Posch, Ethan Adams, Zoe LaPage, Aurora Kent, Alora Henderson, Abigail Crawford, Aidan Crawford, Grace Crawford and Savannah Crawford; great great grandchildren, Mason Marazas and James Marazas; sisters, Eva May McGee of Burrton, Kansas, Darlene Higgins of Halstead, Kansas and Cretia Sue Dinger of Fountain Valley, California; half brother, Robert Foster of Burgaw, North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl Donnelly; sisters, Mary Alice Cochran and Jennie Rose Donnelly; and half sister, Leona Jewell Foster. Casket bearers for the service will be Carl Neil Donnelly III, Christopher Donnelly, Nick Donnelly, Seamus Crawford, Shane Floyd and Steve Ivie. The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Newport officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends and other family during the formal visitation on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel.
